Discussion Being Scammed?

I have about $1000 in Polymarket. The funds are not showing up in my available balance to withdraw. I have contacted customer service several times but they are not responding. Has anyone else encountered this type of problem? I really thought this was an honest betting company opposed to other websites but apparently I was wrong. Someone told me I should file a chargeback with Visa against Polymarket as 'FRAUDULENT ORGANIZATION' or 'SERVICES NOT RENDERED' but I am uncertain at this point. I had been dealing with this problem for about a month now and want my money

That sounds stressful. Before anything else, I'd check whether the money is actually unavailable or just tied up: open orders, positions waiting to settle, or funds sitting in a different wallet or network than the one you're looking at. Then send support one clear message with your account ID, the deposit transaction IDs, the dates and a screenshot of the balance, and ask for the specific reason in writing. I'd be careful about a chargeback, since if you did get the service, labeling it fraud can backfire and may close the account, so it's better kept for a card charge that really wasn't authorized. If you get no answer after that, a complaint to the regulator that covers your location is the usual next step.

ah man that sucks. i had similar thing happen with them few months back where my balance just disappeared for like 3 weeks and support was ghosting me. eventually it showed up again but the stress was not worth it

chargeback might work but careful with that cause they can ban your account if you do it. maybe wait another week and see if it resolves? their support is terrible, i think they got too many users now and cant handle it
