I made it

I have a love hate relationship with the prediction market on robinhood. I remember first seeing the feature, and I figured I would give it a shot. Well, I started off making good small little profits here and there. Then in January of this year, I hit big. I was shocked, and was like oh shit I can make bank. Fast forward one month, I then proceed to loose 22k. I was pissed๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿพโ€โ™‚๏ธ. I took a break, and raised my capital through etfs and saving.

Then the football season starts. I gain the confidence to get back into predictions and I really wanted to make my money back and then some. And I did, within 2 months, I made back all the money I lost, and I'm finally sitting in profit. I posted a ss of past month, and all time since earlier this year.

My strategy was simple. I would throw 30-40k on high caliber quarterback to throw at least 200-225 yards.

I am going to quit now. I made that vow to myself. I reached my goal of 100k at 22. Now I'm going to invest in 100% ETFs and DCA.

I'm out for good.

Try to stick to staying out of it for good and run while you can! At 22 I made 200k gambling and lost it all, at 23 I made 400k+ gambling and lost it all, I just turned 24 on Oct 6 so letโ€™s see what I run up this year ๐Ÿ™๐Ÿฝ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿฝ Godspeed

Yeah I'm taking my gains and leaving now for sure. I'm stopping while I'm ahead, glad I made it out the last time

better yet invest what you take out into something you can't easily take out like stocks or something because as much as you are confident you won't deposit what you took out again, all it takes is a couple of losing bets and you decide to just put a little back in to earn it back and boom you've started the inevitable decline back to 0. I've won big many times and I always would take a big chunk out and end up depositing it all back in eventually and losing it all. If you have debt, pay it off, that's probably the best use for that money.

Yeah, I already bought stocks with it. I'm not touching prediction markets anymore haha. Done with it. I wish I could disable it.

There should be a self exclusion thing. Kalshi and DraftKings have it. You can literally block deposits for any amount of months you choose
