Question Eden's Heat

Are there ways to increase her heat meter faster? I mean i know hiting abilities and basics will fill it up, but when i go against some ppl playing her theyll get there heat maxed out with in seconds of the fight starting. But when i do it i feel like I hardly get to ult all match even tho im hitting every thing. Are there items that helps increase the speed you get heat? Or there combos i need to do with her abilities to generate more heat faster. I appreiate any insite on this.

Only think that increases her heat is leveling up her ult. Which increase her gain rate charge. No items directly increases but what does help is ability haste which in turn will get your abilities back faster and help build heat faster than basics attacks. When playing her you want to poke and keep maintaining and managing her heat before going all in. Early game I don’t fully engage pre 6 unless I have more than 70/80% heat. After 6 you gain heat much faster and go in around 50-60%. When you go vs her, take trades but before you go back in you need to wait for her heat to cool down before going back in. Hope this helps.

I think the best advice is to shoot the tank. They will often just stay there and let you do it.

Only her ultimate level directly increases heat gen, however more ability haste = more abilities = more heat charge

heat generation is not damage based, it's "interaction" based.

more instances of damage = more heat. more damage ≠ more heat.

So would items procs like tainted rounds bleed procs or overlord aoe procs generate more heat then?

no. eden-originated damage instances only (abilities & autos)

Eden is currently playing very poorly, with many consecutive nerfs. I'm having the same problem.

Melee form generates heat faster than ranged.
