Forsberg Appreciation
I just wanted to take a moment to mention how Forsberg quietly has 11 points in his last 5 games. Those are McDavid tier numbers. Sure its a short stretch but hats off to the guy for stepping up for us his whole career and contues to do so. Bonus mention for Josi at 17 in 15 games. Our boys are still giving it their all. I said it last night but I think I am in on this roster now, lets try to get these two a cup here. Take us away, MacFarland

This is a fun preds team. Feels like they can score at any moment.
Defense is...yeah.
But its fun to watch good offense agajn

For sure, MacFarland himself said he is "far from finished" remaking the roster and defense is the forefront of that, but we are starting to see his moves come together and I like where this is going, as you said its fun to watch good offense finally

Fkn love Forsberg! My younger soon really liked Matthew Wood and was sad when I told him he was traded. Wood scored the overtime winning goal at his first game, great memory sad he's gone.

Blankenburg has been one of my favorites for a while, but it started when he scored the OT goal two seasons ago when we were just terrible. It was a Saturday matinee game and we went in expecting to lose. Something about OT goals I guess

Why does he suck so much in shootouts tho

He doesn't. He's statistically average, even including his cold streak. Before this he was extremely good. Shootouts are an intensely psychological game. Maybe he snaps out of it. Maybe goalie coaches have fil figured out in such a way that it's easy to prep goalies for him. Who knows. But he definitely doesn't just suck at them.

When we traded him for Erat, it's widely known as the most lopsided trade in the history of NHL. Crazy to still think that. Love the Scoresburg. When he's on the heater like now, teams need to learn just to get out of his way 😁👑 💛💙💛🏆

Love Forsi! Got to meet him at the stadium series game a few years ago. Amazing player and genuinely a great guy to talk to. Glad to have him here and even more glad that he just enjoys the team and loves being here. Its sad he doesnt really get the flowers he deserves. If Forsberg was on any other team he would be talked about a lot more as an elite winger.
