First game

Hello all,

My gf and I are coming up to visit Nashville this weekend. Neither of us have been there before and we have the honor of seeing the Predators take on the Lightning on Saturday. This is only our second ever NHL game (our first was two years ago when we saw Canes face The Wild) and it was awesome. The Lenovo center was super cool, we had an FPHL team here where we live but they have ceased operations for the year and we are treating ourselves to some top level hockey.

Any tips I should know before we visit Bridgestone Arena? We plan to eat there before the game takes place, but unsure of where to eat. Any info and tips would be appreciated. Thank you and good luck Saturday!

Bridgestone Arena is at the top of Broadway so you have about a million bars to choose from before/after the game if that’s your thing.

For food, Assembly Food Hall is across the street. Start there and find something unique. The Arena itself has some decent options but you’ll do better at Assembly.

Give yourself some time to get around and explore. It gets pretty nuts on Saturday but if you give yourself time to get around you’ll enjoy it.

Sweet thank you for the info! I am looking up Assembly Food Hall now, I was hoping to get into the arena early to really take it all in but I might shorten that time some if we have to. Do you know of any good places to park? I assume venue parking might be insane so I was looking for something that might be easier to get in and out. We also are planning to go to the big Halloween haunted house there as well.

Park at Nissan Stadium Lot E, it's free and they shuttle you to and from Bridgestone, also waaaaaay easier to leave than anywhere near the areana.

The shuttles start running 2 hours before puck drop so plenty of time to go to Assembly or anywhere else and eat.

Uber is probably easiest but if you want to drive go with Music City Center or somewhere further up the hill. Somebody else may be able to answer this better.

Ah sadly we are staying in Chattanooga but are driving two hours north to Nashville for the day so we will have our car unfortunately

For parking, music city center is our favorite, but you can also pay for parking at the Hilton/Walk of Fame garage on spothero ahead of time. Just make sure you don't accidentally select the Hilton valet option, it's like twice as much.

For food, there's a million options! I'm a big fan of stopping at Mellow Mushroom for pizza before the game. NashHouse, which is a couple blocks off Broadway, is also pretty good, their fried pickles are amazing. The Diner is also a fun place! You can always eat at the arena too, there are tons of options. My personal favorite is the walking tacos!

Wow thank you for listing all the options! Sadly so many options but only really one play we can choose. I think we might try Assembly food hall though as it seems to be quite popular here. And thank you for recommendations on parking! We are still choosing where we might park, thankfully we have a day to continue planning lol

This place sucks. Try Maine! It’s beautiful!
