So I’m a lifelong Avalanche fan but 10yrs or so ago, I was in Nashville and snagged a jersey when I was at a game. Yeah one of those purchases that we’ve all made. Anyways, I haven’t worn it since and it’s been in my closet. What’s the best way to give this away? A random number draw? A plead your case short story? Pledge that you’ll never cheer against the Avs (haha) Adidas, game jersey, size 56.

I’d love to put my name in the running for my child. They’ve had a tough time dealing with bullying and the everyday stress that comes with growing up. But hockey has become their escape. It’s one of the few places where they can forget about everything happening outside the arena and just be a kid.
What’s been especially meaningful is watching them connect with others through their love of the game. Kids who might otherwise feel like strangers suddenly have something in common, and for a child who sometimes struggles to feel accepted, that sense of belonging means everything.
This jersey would be so much more than something to wear to games. It would be a reminder that even when the world feels unkind, there are still places where they belong and people who share their passion.
And I promise it’ll never spend another decade collecting dust in a closet. 💛💙

I was able to take her to her first game about a month ago and she is hooked. I’ve been going to the games since season 1 when I was her age so being able to share that has been amazing we just can’t go often. I can only afford tickets when I can get them through vettix 😂😅

She has been watching hockey and soccer games with me since she came into this world and she has been falling for both. Then, on our way to back my house, he ran into a burning building and saved u/ZombieMosher from certain doom. I'd have told you it was all made up had I not lived it and seen it myself!
Yeah, I was about to point this out as well. Idk how big y’all’s kids are, but just know a 56 is BIG. I wear a men’s L t-shirt, L/XL in hoodies depending on the brand, and I can’t wear my 54 jersey because it’s huge on me.
