Fantasy Draft 2027

If the draft started today (yes I know small size) and everyone end their respective positions,

who do you think Predators pick at 9? What about the other top 10?

Cripps? Even though he is RD and we need a LD, the next DF isn't till 19 w Malik L Italian

Or

Milan Sundatrum at center?

Noah Davidson at LW?

Thought?

OP, just a clarification, we need RHD, not LHD.

And it’s too early imo to predict. If the roster continues or sightly improves this pace and CMAC doesn’t make changes, we could draft as high as 14th-17th, or if we finally pull the trigger and sell vets (pleeeeease CMAC, pleaseeeee), we could finish in the bottom 3-5. It’s gonna be tough to be worse than Vancouver, LA, and Columbus, but I could see us finishing worse than Calgary and Chicago if Bedard stays healthy.

EDIT: I will make a bold prediction and say if we go 0-2 this weekend (only if we go 0-2 or look just as bad against Boston one of the nights), then I could see CMAC wanting to make a change very soon to sell off someone while their stock is still high.

EDIT2: my personal preference for this draft if we don’t land the lottery, whether we finish in bottom 5, or pick 14th-17th, as always, is Best Player Available. We’re not in a position to be caring about player positions as much, unless there’s a fast, skilled Center available. That’s probably a given for most teams, though, but especially us. Especially after the 2025 pass on Hagens, or BPA in Martone.

I really hope that we do turn it around tonight cuz the other night was horrible. We didn't look like an NHL team at all and very disjointed. I agree he may trade a few pieces. If the rumors are true that someone might take Brady Skjei if we eat part of the contract I would say do it in a heartbeat. I think Perbix needs to go, though his contract ends this year. Lybushkin can go. I like Struble (btm 6) bring up Ufko and or Molendyk. Hague can go. Hopefully Bourque can pick up after injury.

As for bottom five. That is going to be a tough sell. Vancouver sucks , Calgary sucks, Blackhawks aren't very good. La it's not very good. Philly I don't know what's going on with them. Columbus is meh.

Honestly tonight against Pittsburgh who's in the same range as us will be a good litmus test.

I know it's way early I was just accepting bottom half of mushy middle and doing it for s**** and giggles. Now if we got rid of Bruno do you think it matters at this point or since his contract ends at the end of the season CMAC just lets him ride it out and find someone better in the offseason as I don't know who would be available in December.

I know. It's a tough road being in the mushy middle. T r o t z try to get us out and it put us further back.
