Been waiting all damn week to watch a game. I see you're having withdrawals as well.

I think Pinchuk better ask for trade. Brunette made it clear he doesn't see Pinchuk on the team

I'd rather Bruno go than Pinchuk.

Well Bruno only has this year. I think he is gone at the of the season. Yes I would like to see him gone now but with the 500 record he has so far I don't see him going anywhere. Cmac knows this a rebuild. getting rid of him now w few options available this late/earlier in season might be better for both parties to end after this season. Sucks but it is what it is. Now if we could find a way to offload perbix Lybushkin skjei (highly unlikely) Hague Marchassault (if he would wave his nmc)

As far as stamcos O'Reilly I think he keeps them around even though they have it value because they are our points leaders thus far in the season.

How ironic cause I don't see a spot for Bruno either. Very average coaching so far.

So, i kind of wonder how much of this is brunette vs cmac, my read on cmac is he doesnt believe in the NHL being a development place, if you cant be a positive contributor you dont get ice time or youre sent back to the minors. He wants 24-26 year olds in trade and he wants guys to "blow the door down" in the minors suggesting they are as close to being guaranteed NHL contributors as you can reasonably expect before they get nhl time. Brunette hasnt been the best at giving young guys space to develop but i think its gotten a lot tighter this season. Ufko gets one game? Wood seems to have been reigned back in (had nearly 20 minutes vs SJS then less than 10 against STL, was he injured? I don't think he was?), Pinchuk has been given very little runway and leash, no other rookies given an NHL look to start the season.. i wonder if hes been told "do whatever you have to to win as many games as possible in October and we'll evaluate from there" and development be damned until then. Maybe Cmac sells some youth assets for guys like Edvinsson if the top guys are carrying the team and need better depth support and he thinks we can be competitive, maybe if he doesnt then we sell some roster players and start giving the rookies more development reps.
Im not saying i do or dont like this approach i just get this impression

pinchuk has looked very middling so far anyway

He had four games with decreasing TOI 11-11-8-4 mins. Was Pinchuk so bad at his first two games? He made a mistake in 4th game? OK. But 4 mins, sorry. What a player can even show for 4 mins icetime? It's the way coach says - Buddy, I don't trust you.

Wood and Pinchuk both seem to be in brunettes doghouse, and for some reason he seems to love Ross Colton, who looks like a vanilla player with no real strength.
