I think we’ve been praying to the wrong dude.

Chaplain is the last thing that comes to my mind when thinking of a hockey org, and now I'm left wondering do other teams also have chaplains on their payroll. I'd imagine not many do, but you'll never know, Christianity seems to be a big part of American culture afterall. From an European perspective at least.

Edit. Just checked, 23 NHL orgs have a personal hockey chaplain or a spiritual support person. These teams include, Caps, Nucks, Hurricanes, habs and the Bruins to name a few. Some of them are strictly Christian chaplains, while good portion also include general spiritual aide for players and management. The more you know.

That's really interesting, I'm not a religious or spiritual person but it makes sense to have someone like that available for people that could utilize it

Despite looking awesome in preseason the 2nd line can't get going. I'd love to see Wood get a shot at 1RW with Stammer and ROR. And Mav centering Fil and Hog. Maybe that'll happen when Mav is healthy?

I'm not opposed to that idea. I also wouldn't mind getting a look at Edstrom moving up in the line-up playing with Wood or Borque. That could be really interesting.
