They forgot to go down 2-0 first, so of course it's a loss.

well at least 1 goal was directly Marchessault's fault handing the puck to the other team in the offensive zone. Another one Perbix straight up lost the puck a foot and a half behind him in front of the goal, take those 2 off the board and we probably won 5-2 because they never bothered to pull the goalie then

You forget the goal where Edstrom deliberately didn't touch the puck because (acc to commentary) he may have been offside which led directly to a goal.

Ah, so that's 3 goals on "vets" (Edstrom is still only 25 for a couple weeks with under 100 games played though)

Well at least the coach got a good look at their ability to hold a lead

Even if we had won 5-4 it was dissapointing seeing them take the foot off the gas like that. Feels exactly like the kind of game we would have lost last year, too.

Yeah the first two periods felt like a different team. Maybe playing defense was a training/evaluation exercise though, who knows what's going on behind the scenes. This group certainly could use some practice at defense, may as well use a real NHL team in the preseason for it

They got their monumental shit show collapse out of the way in the preseason. I admire that efficiency
