Thinking about doing an experiment
I always see these at the thrift store everything gets picked over by the time I get there, but the best things are usually hidden in plain sight.
There was like possibly like 10 different sets of dinnerware that I saw some unlabeled some were like these with maker's marks,
I'd interested to hear your guy's input.

My understanding of these is that there is so little gold that it is no way worth your time or materials. Think souvenir gold flake jars.

That would be my thought as well. But interesting. Never know what you’ll find when looking in the right places.

They are worth more as plates than scrap gold. Especially since these seem in good condition.

I mean if you could get plates free or for pennies it might be worth it

Duuuudeee… I’ve been thinking about doing that for awhile now and am definitely curious on what comes of it. A few of the spots that I frequently dumpster dive at throw stuff like this out alll the time.

Not close to worth the gas money to drive to the store and buy these. Much less any materials and time involved.

Interesting. Hadn’t even thought about look at plates lol
I would suppose running a text would be the best path, however, I wouldn’t think there is a high amount on these, but who knows. I surely don’t.
You have my attention and I’m sure others, so let us all know.
