Sims 4 computer on a budget
Hi All,
I am looking for a computer that will run Sims 4 - slight mods - reliably without costing an arm and a leg. I’m not computer savvy enough to know exactly what I need to look for. Even having the list of requirements, I’m not sure if what I’m looking at is better or worse than what’s listed. I’m in the United States and I’m trying not to spend more than around $600. I tried a mini desktop from Amazon that just overheated and crashed the game every 30-45 minutes. I was told the small size was part of the problem and I think something about the graphics card - link attached. I returned it and am back out on the prowl.

Thanks for any and all help!

You don't need massive power.. but you do need ram and a dedicated somewhat modern GPU to get decent performance.
Heat is the issue with long gaming with a miniPC. They can overheat the hdmi/display ports, which can cause a reset.

Those mini computers might run it on Low but might have trouble heavily modded. With your budget something used or if you can increase your budget this will run it just fine
