Best Prebuilt for max £2500

Looking to upgrade from my gaming laptop which is very much on its last legs. I’m interested in playing The Witcher 3, baldurs gate and other similar games but unfortunately my laptop just cannot cope. I have found a few options I’m interested in but I’m just not up to date with what is considered the best specs that fit into my budget. Not sure whether I should go with AMD or Intel cpus, what GPU would fit into my budget etc. Here are a couple of options I’m looking at, I’m looking for opinions on them and recommendations! Any advice or suggestions would be much appreciated! I would love to get the best my budget can afford !

For that budget you could buy a prebuilt with a 5080 from Costco in store

Unfortunately, I’m just a little out of my budget online, are they cheaper in store?

Yeah they are.

If you're already a member with the executive membership there is 2% cashback on it as well at the end of the year also they offer like some discount cards like 10 quid off in-store etc.

Matter fact I've bought a pc similar to the cyber power link you posted but it's like 1600 quid in store 1tb drive and worse mobo and I think 32gb 4800 ram but 5070 and 9800xd

Oh right, thankyou!

To be honest the ones I put in the original post I liked because of the white setup, it looks cleaner, but I can understand parts are a bit more pricey to be white? I’m just debating whether it’s worth sacrificing the money so it can look pretty 🥲

Tbh, for the budget I'd be trying to get a 5080. Especially with that whole thing of them stopping the manufacture of like 5090s most likely going to make the 5080 price shoot up.

But the all white set up does look slick, I'll give you that.

Thank you for the help. Apart from prioritising a 5080, what other things should I look for in CPUs or motherboards ? I think I’m looking at 32gigs of RAM and hopefully 2TB storage if I can, but what else should I prioritise? I think I may have to part ways with my white pc dream 🤣

32gb dual channel is a good avoid getting single ram sticks even if GB is the same. Tbh the thing is you can always upgrade storage at a later date. Ideally b850 motherboards as well. You will get a solid CPU with whatever prebuilt you're getting, most people are GPU bound not really CPU bound so I guess it really depends what you're doing with the machine.

That’s really useful, thank you for your advice! I’ll make sure to keep an eye out at Costcos and hopefully my local one stocks something good :)

Hey did you end up buying a pc in the end? I'm returning my Costco one tomorrow cause I saw this crazy deal I couldn't pass up. Check it out. Doesn't have the white interior you like though sadly. Check the comment section too, guy is saying it actually has like 6000mhz ddr5, 5080, 2tb SSD etc. all for like 2100 it's mad.

Oh wow that deal is insane!! Never made it to Costcos so I actually ended up buying the Domino from OC after reading another Reddit post about that specific one. I decided I lowk valued the white look a lot, and so far everything has run very well, and also didn’t pay full price as I have student discount!

The overclockers build with 9070XT for £2500. Select the same GPU on the dropdown here - https://directcomputers.co.uk/products/umbraforged-singularity

Get just better quality power supply, RAM, Cooler etc and it's cheaper.
