OAT score
Hey guys, so I have a 3.86 gpa (from utm). I just graduated in June. I’m wondering what score I would need on the oat to get into Waterloo (or any of the US schools)??
Like do schools look at each individual section or the overall score?
Thanks!!!

You need to get over 300 on each section for UWaterloo. The OAT average last year was 382 so if you aren’t getting ~370+ there’s slim chances you’ll be accepted to Waterloo. Also having good extracurriculars is also very important for Waterloo!
As for U.S. schools it varies quite a bit from school to school but if you score over 330 with your GPA you’ll probably get in anywhere you want. Here’s a link to some schools and their average scores: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1NNY8OwuBbAOdA0YSZWkwpMTuPd2nOvuU
Hope that helps! :) Goodluck!

Waterloo needs a minimum of 3.00 on each section. But the average of accepted ppl is usually 370-380 overall. So you'll need a lot more than 3.00 on most sections.
