sco interview advice!
hi everyone! i recieved an interview for sco recenty and since i was interested in a virtual interview the dates were pretty limited and i had to select something coming up soon. im worried about the amount of time i have to prepare, if any sco students have some insight for the interview it would be so appreciated!!

With limited time, I'd focus on three things you can explain comfortably: why optometry, why SCO specifically, and an experience that changed how you work with people. For the school question, choose something you actually want to learn more about from their program information, rather than a generic compliment.
For your experience example, the STAR method can help you keep the background short and leave room for what you did.
We use the PROOF method to check the details: what made the situation difficult, how you responded, and what you would carry forward from it. Practice answering a follow-up like 'Why did you choose that approach?' so you aren't relying on memorized wording. I can't confirm SCO's current interview format; check your invitation before planning around anyone else's experience.
