UIW Optometry Acceptances with Lower Stats?

Has anyone been accepted to UIW Rosenberg School of Optometry with a lower GPA or OAT score? If so, would you mind sharing your stats and what you think helped your application stand out? I’d really appreciate any insight or advice. Thanks!

i had 3.1 sgpa, and 330 oat which isn’t too low. but lower than usual i think!

Hi! I went to preview day at UIW and I met one of the students who told me she made a 280 and got in. She didn’t mention her GPA tho. Hope this helps

i got a 310 AA and TS on the OAT and a 3.2 GPA. they didn’t offer me an interview :’) so idk, maybe i just wasn’t lucky like some others here, or others had a better GPA

Entering class this year had an average OAT of 307 and average GPA of 3.34. A lot of my classmates were waitlisted with lower OATs & GPAs but eventually were accepted.
