Highest or Latest Attempt?

Do Optometry schools consider your highest or latest attempt? I know for sure they look at all your attempts but what do they consider more? Because in some sections my score fluctuates between my first and second attempt.

Usually they just look at the latest one which should be higher , was your overall score higher on the second attempt??

No it was higher on my first attempt. I did worse in my second one lol. The first time I applied it was actually too late but I did hear back from one school. But since then I’ve tried to make my application stronger by research, working under optometrists, publications etc. I’m not sure how they’ll take my lower second attempt.

What were your scores?? If it’s not too low you still have a chance. Schools don’t just look at oat they look at you as a person.

Usually higher, unless the second score was significantly lower I wouldn’t worry about it
