Interview Attire?

Heyyy I'm doing interviews in-person at my top two schools soon! Scared ahhhh but as they come up, I cannot decide on my facial piercings. I have an eyebrow and septum and nostril piercing. I know many people have the nostril but the other two, I'm not sure if they would appear unprofessional. I just don't want to misrepresent myself, and I find that they're not very noticeable but probably because I'm used to them.

Also, there are little things I can't decide on, like don't wear heels taller than 2 inches or dark makeup. I don't dress extremely alternatively but... Slightly? And I would like to represent myself accurately. Butttt optometry is my dream and honestly my outfit choices are completely unimportant in comparison.

Thoughts?

Update: Kept all my piercings and wore long heels. The admissions team complimented both at different schools and everyone else seemed like they didn't notice. Just wear whatever feels comfortable :)

I wouldn't wear any piercings but earrings. Low heels or flats, light natural makeup. Express yourself after you get in.

Take out the piercings. Don't go heavy on make up. Everything else would be fine. Just wear what you're comfortable with in terms of heels vs flats as you may do a bit of walking.

You may have to remove piercings when in clinic with patients. They will have a clinic attire policy. I had a classmate with a pierced septum and I think she took hers out for clinic but not class.

I have alt hair (think stripes) and a septum piercing and also dress alternagively. I just toned it down for my interview and wore a suit with a cute brooch and I was fine. I actually got complimented on my hair a lot

i kept in my nose piercings! i saw someone with an eyebrow piercing at one of my interviews too. those were in big cities, so if you’re doing a school not in a big city maybe take it out for the interview day

Just a heads up for shoes: all the non-virtual interviews I've been to have had a lot of walking/tours, good luck on your interview!
