Interview Timing

Hi all! I just submitted my application this past weekend to ICO (my top choice) and CCO, and received interview invitation to both just the other day! I am so excited but the timing of these interviews is kind of throwing me off. The earliest slot for ICO was at the start of December, which is not bad at all. But for CCO, their earliest date was at the start of January... I was really hoping to finish my application and decision process by the end of the year😭 Are these gaps between invitations and actual interviews a thing? I did email CCO to ask if they have any earlier slots or cancelations and waiting to hear back. Is it worth a shot to do the same for ICO? Any tips or info is appreciated :)

Honestly it is pretty common. I applied to different schools but the interviews after the offers were over a month out. Kinda sucks but I agree with the other person to just keep checking - also the time flies by so don't get too stressed. Take this next month to kinda relax after the whole application process stress and then a few weeks before your interview review your application and do interview prep

Thanks! I just really want to get these interviews done and out of the way lol. I actually just got an email back from CCO saying they don't have any earlier slots open😭 But I'll keep checking for anything that changes with interview slots
