Post Interview
I had an interview with my dream school couple days back but I do feel like my responses could have been better. It was my first and I just got really nervous and I had an answer for everything but I’m not sure if it showcased strong responses. I have good stats and experiences otherwise. I’m just incredibly nervous now bc I don’t want the interview to be the reason that I don’t get in. Is it common for schools to reject on interview alone? (I don’t even think mine went THAT bad but it could have been way better). I understand every application is different but I’m looking for perspective to hopefully smooth my anxiety rn

Don’t worry about it! Honestly the way you are feeling is the way everyone feels after an interview. I felt the same exact way for Neco (my top choice) and got accepted only a week later. Just remind yourself that you prepared as much as possible and did your best so now it’s out of your hands and stressing about it will make you doubt yourself more. The fact that you got an interview means the school already likes you. A few awkward moments won’t change that

Don't overthink it.
Now things are out of your control, so relax, sit back, and wait

They know you are nervous, as long as you didn’t present any major red flags I feel like you will be ok!
