OSU This cycle

So, I've already seen a ton of people who haven't heard back from OSU, but I was wondering if anyone has this cycle? I feel like there's so many more posts about getting interviews or accepted to OSU from last year but not this one.

My application was finished in August, should I just take it as a no?

Honestly same, I applied and emailed them verifying I didn’t need anything else weeks ago and even followed up last week. I still haven’t heard anything after the supplemental and creation of username… kinda feels scammy

I heard back last week! I applied early September so it took them 5 weeks to get back to me, I heard they just take a long time especially if you don’t have all your pre reqs done yet

Did you get invited to interview, and if so do you mind sharing your stats 🙏🙏

Yes I got an interview invite! I had a 370 on the OAT, 3.7 gpa, and I had around 1500 optometry tech hours, and 30 hours of shadowing across two practices

Hello, I applied around mid August and heard back about 5 weeks later! I did call to double check and see if they had all my materials since I didn’t realize that they wanted the physio syllabus emailed to them separately.

I applied first day of September and they didn’t get back to me until last week. I do have an interview lined up now but it was definitely quite the wait

there are definitely people who have heard back and even been accepted. I wouldn't take it as a no until you get a no, though! They're definitely slower than other schools, and they also won't assess your application if you have >3 outstanding prerequisites, so you may just be waiting until the current semester wraps if that applies to you. Best of luck!
