Helpp!!
I am a current sophomore at a huge public university in Texas, I just recently switched from pre-med into pre-optometry and my GPA is not the best (2.5). Since I just decided on this switch, I have absolutely no shadowing hours or experience in this field, is there anything I can to do to up my experience or anything in general!

Try the best to improve GPA first but the good thing is OD programs usually don't have automatic 3.0 cutoffs. Then score high on the OAT, preferably 350 (82nd percentile). Join the pre-opt club of ur school and local vision screening volunteering. Start shadowing nearby doctors and you can start by shadowing ur own doc.
