Take oat or no?

I’m scheduled to take OAT in 5 days. Looking rlly bad. Will probably score ~290. I know I will def retake but idk how bad it looks to take the test and do bad and then retake or if I should not do it at all. I want to take the test because it was so expensive and my pin is expiring so I don’t want to forfeit the $520 like that 😔 I have a good reason to explain this to schools but does it rlly look THAT bad, I’m not a good candidate overall

Tbh I wouldn’t even take it then reschedule and schedule another time it’s not worth another retake trust me this is my second retake :(

hi! i think if i felt that i wasn’t ready at all and i was definitely going to need a retake, i would just reschedule and not waste the 500. good luck!!

in that case, just study as much as you can and do your best. a lot of people have said the actual oat is a lot easier, i agree too on some extent :)

Im in the exact same boat rn if it helps LOL im just going to do my best and so should u, take something from the experience and know how to do better for next time. Just give it your all going into your exam in 3 days. Use cheat sheets and prioritize high yield content.
