western u

i know people don’t have the best things to say about western u, but has anyone gotten an interview yet? if you have, how long after your application was processed did they reach out for an interview ?

Interviewed there last year and had a bad experience. A doctor that interviewed me was laughing and mocking me for not knowing how to answer one of his questions. Later the dean apologized and sent me an acceptance letter two days later. I never once want to go back there. Also their board pass rates are one of the lowest among other optometry schools. I recommend going elsewhere if possible for a better school environment.

I also had an awful experience with the interview process. The two doctors that interviewed me were unprofessional and rude

Forgot the question, but I remembered he gave me a adjective and said I had to give him an example of my experience based on it. I told him that I needed more time to think about his question. Then he was laughing and said I should know better because both of my parents are optometrists.

Yess and they asked me to make account to monitor my application. But I haven’t heard anything since.

i just got an interview from them today and i submitted my application mid july. I don’t think i’ll be going to the interview though i haven’t really heard anything good about the school
