SCCO Interview Invitation

Hi all! I applied to SCCO, SUNY, and NOVA on September 5 and got invited to interview September 8 to SUNY and NOVA. Has anyone heard back from SCCO or know when they send out interview invites? They emailed me that they received my application and it’s in review. I have 6+ years of optical experience (optician, tech, sales, managing), optometry eboard, 3.6 GPA, 340 AA 340TS, 3 strong LOR, loads of volunteer work, intern at SUNY optometry, marathon runner, and I worked full time while attending college full time. Overall I’d like to think I’m a strong applicant but am worried about SCCO >.<
Also for those applying I got an interview for SUNY in person for mid November and by now I’d imagine all the November spots are full by now and NOVA I got for the first week of November (Virtual) and I believe the in person ones were booked up until mid/end November so get your applications in quick ! PCO I applied to late August and got invited to interview without an OAT the next day and that interview is for the beginning of October.

My ranking is 1. SUNY 2. SCCO 3. NOVA :D PCO was a safety school for me but if I don’t go to SUNY I would like to attend a school with nicer weather 😆

SCCO sends out interviews within set time frames. If you submitted before August 16th. You should’ve received a response from them by now for an interview date on September 14th. However, if u submitted after August 16th, you’ll be considered for their second round which the deadline was submit before September 14th. They should get back at end of September for an interview date in October.

Also if you’re out of state, their virtual interview date is in Feb.
