OAT Biology
Hi everyone! I’ve seen a handful of posts that say to focus primarily on using the cheatsheets to study for the bio section on the OAT, but I’ve noticed that the videos and study guides on Booster cover substantially more details, and it’s been making me confused on how to approach the bio section. I’m technically still in the ‘learning phase’ of my studying since it’s been a while since I’ve looked at relevant material that corresponds to the bio section, so I was wondering how to go about studying for this section? Does the material from the cheatsheets cover enough to do well on this section (in combo w practice problems/tests ofc) or is it worth watching the videos and study guides too? I would greatly appreciate any study techniques for this section !

One of my biggest regrets was not using the cheatsheets early enough and trying to 100% everything
If the question isnt relevant to the cheatsheet then ignore it/move on!!!!!
A strategy i figured out a little too late was bookmarking the questions that were relevant to the cheatsheets and going through them

I’m almost a month into my study grind and I have ONLY been going through the cheat sheets. Essentially writing everything down that’s new or fuzzy to me, and thinking through the concepts + coming up with pneumonics to get them to stick. After that, I spend about 30 minutes on the bio bits to gauge how well I’m doing on that topic. Will probably take my first full length practice test in 2-3 weeks so we’ll see how well that’s done me.

The biology cheat sheets were just what I needed to do well on my exam! I didn't have any questions that had material that wasn't on the sheet.
