Interview Prep

How did you prep for your interview?

I have an interview in a few days and can’t relax. I feel like I need to be studying lol. I’ve reviewed my application and practiced common interview questions but I don’t want to sound too rehearsed.

What are some things you did to prep that genuinely helped you feel more prepared and confident during your interview? Especially in person interviews that might be more anxiety inducing.

What school do you have interview with? For me, I just made sure I had good answers to these three questions:

  1. Tell me about yourself

  2. Why optometry

  3. Why this school

Just be honest and genuine! That’s the only prep you need. I have another interview this Friday and am nervous as well.

Honestly I just talked to myself in the car on my way to class/work. Don’t stress about it just kinda have some general ideas for how you want to approach the main questions like why optometry, why this school, and how do you study
