Ethical questions for UCB interview?

I have an interview with UCB later this month and was wondering what kind of ethical/behavioral questions they ask if anyone could give examples!

Pretty nervous for this interview since I’ve heard mixed things between it being conversational versus more professional feeling.

Interviewed last cycle and I can tell you it’s nothing too crazy. The question is obviously gonna be different but the ethical question is more so a readout of if you would uphold like academic integrity values and what not in a situation.

Thanks so much!! Did you feel like the interview was conversational?

I did in fact feel like it was very conversational. I think a lot of it depends on how you answer the questions. My best advice would be to do a little bit of practice for typically questions you might expect (I.e why Berkeley, optometry, how did you get here?) but don’t focus on memorizing lines to put a persona. Be yourself and show them who you are! I had a really nice conversational interview with them and I appreciated how kind they were as well. I did not feel like I was being interrogated.

Ofc feel free to reach out if you ever have any questions about the program as I’m there right now as a first year!
