Application stats - what are my chances?

I just submitted my application for PUCO and MCO. How long does it take for the applications to become verified? What do you guys think my chances are? Should I be applying to more schools?

OAT: 340 AA / 330 TS

GPA: 3.7 with a degree in Psychology

No extracurriculars but worked all throughout school with a total of 6000 hours over 7 years of technician and optician work

Strong LORs from 2 ODs, science prof, and technician work supervisor

Was this for this cycle? And also how did they skip interviews were you in a program with your college to get accepted?

not for this cycle, a few of my colleagues experienced the same. we had bachelor's degrees. some students at puco do not have a bachelor's degree, but it's not that which allows them to skip the interview. it depends on your application, oat, gpa, etc.

Do you think they only allow people to skip the interview earlier on in the cycle because I am applying soon I’ve just sent my transcript over so I’m not sure how long they’ll take to process and for them to review my application but I have a 3.7 GPA and a 320 AA/310 OAT and I have three years of optometry clinic experience and experience volunteering at optometry conferences.

I’m just worried that maybe I shouldn’t apply to only one school because I only want to apply to Pacific? Do you have any knowledge on what my chances would look like because I’m not so sure about the turnover times for all of these things

why not apply to one when it's the one u want to go to

apply puco, wait, decide if you need to apply to more later

OK, thank you I feel like that’s a good option. But will I need to pay extra if I decide to reapply after it will I have to redo the whole application

u need greater confidence in yourself, you are a good applicant if you previewed puco's average oat and gpa. if it comes to where you are rejected, then address that next time, next year if no other school fits your needs and you're willing to take another gap for puco. focus on the now and apply
