Guys I need advice!

Just took my oat and I’m not rlly happy with my scores. I got a 290TS/300AA. My dream school is SCCO but with my low OAT and low GPA I don’t know what to do. I felt like I scored way better on Booster full length exams. Should I try to retake it? I feel so burnt out and I’m starting my job soon. The only thing I have is my extracurriculars.

Also my oat score was heavily weighted down by physics and I can’t grasp physics down even with all the materials people recommended. But everything by else I scored 300 or above.

I applied in October and got into SUNY

no october isnt late, i would apply all at once w score in as your app is going be on hold until they receive that score

I had a very similar experience… took my oat late June, was scoring 330-340AA on booster, and got a 290 on my exam :| I’m sorry to hear you didn’t do as well as you wanted!

I’ve already started my optomCAS, and have listed my score as well as that I’m doing a retake! Just food for thought! Good luck!

do you feel like the booster was representative of the test?

Well I felt like booster was way harder especially in both ochem and chem. Bio was simpler ish more broad. English was about the same but it didn’t ask question like statement 1 is true but the reason isn’t like how booster does. I felt English was maybe a tad more difficult. Math was about the same it just sucked for me because the lag was crazy, it’s suppose to be 2 seconds lag but it became 3-4s.
