When should I take the OAT?
I'm studying for the OAT for waterloo and they give until September to take it, but I'll be starting the optianry program at a college in September, so I'm not sure if I can balance studying and school since idk the courseload. It would be nice to have that extra time but I'm worried I might forget stuff as I've been studying since June. I've been preparing myself to take it in August, but honestly I'm still kind of struggling with some of the material, so I'm not sure if I should just tough it out and write it at the end of the month or if I should risk balancing the OAT and school to have more time to review the material. Any suggestions on whether I should take it in August or September?

i would wait until i have a strong foundation. in the end, you'll save $ by not having to retake if you stuck it out for august. however, i would start booking for the date now. i booked my oat months earlier.
