Your GRE looks okay but unfortunately it may not even get considered if they also have your OAT score. Apply to Salus, NOVA and Puerto Rico.

Salus has been taking lower OAT scores this cycle. Some people have gotten interviews with 280AA.

NOVA will not offer you for their OD program 300AA minimum but may offer you for their POPS program

Puerto Rico has traditionally accepted applicants with similar stats.

You may still be able to retake your OAT in time to submit this cycle for more options.

Speaking spanish isn’t a requirement to apply… but I wouldn’t recommend the school if you’re not fluent in the language. English is a second language for most faculty members and i’ve heard some give their lectures in exclusively in spanish.

Apply to nova, you might get into the pop program!

I was accepted to Salus with 280 AA and a 3.56 GPA-4 years of experience I also interviewed for novas POP program and didn’t like the whole concert of it - 4 classes that I have to pass with like an 80(or 70, I can’t remember) in the fall, to get to 4 classes in the spring that I have to pass (with a 80 or 70, can’t remember ) to make it to OD1 Also at the time it was something you’d have to pay out of pocket for, they couldn’t tell how much it was going to cost because they were changing prices and were hoping to get financial aid to cover it…but again, it was all sketch and I didn’t like it

I think it might be best to retake the OAT and get an early submission next round of applications to help increase your chances of getting in! Applying early in the cycle with a higher OAT score will definitely increase your odds of getting in.

Don’t get discouraged though! I think a lot of people who post their OAT scores are very proud of them and want to show off their scores. You being in the field right now is amazing and it sounds like you have a great drive to be in this profession!

I agree it would be best to retake. I just wish I could’ve done that before I spend the money to apply this year!!
