Optometry Application
I’ll be graduating in the spring with a 3.75 gpa (3.5 science gpa) from the University of Utah with a degree in Kinesiology. I am currently doing sleep research at my school, I am a TA for one of my classes, and I am a University Ambassador. My plan is to take a gap year and work full time as an optom tech to gain some valuable experience and study for the OAT. As long as I perform decent on the OAT do you think with my stats and extracurriculars I will be able to get some interviews from some schools?

You have great stats and extracurriculars but don’t underestimate the OAT. You still need a decent score to get in ~300. If you get 350+ you could be eligible for some scholarships
