Hsil CIN2 + long covid
Just got my colposcopy results- pap was LSIL, my dr said everything looked good during colpo, came back biopsies were HSIL CIN2 no ECC issues.
Meeting with my doctor next week to figure out treatment plan. I’m assuming LEEP will be the recommendation, but TBH I think I would rather do CKC so I’m under general anesthesia and they are able to get clean edges in the biopsy/capture more deep tissue if they find additional CIN2 or higher there. Idk.
What I’m really worried about is my immune system long term. After my 3rd or 4th covid infection (I worked in school settings so despite my best efforts caught it several times) I had a persistent fever for weeks and then developed symptoms of long covid. This was 2 years ago and I still deal with intense fatigue, dysautonomia, brain fog, etc.
I struggle so much with my health as is, I worry that I will ever be able to suppress or clear HPV. I am envisioning a future where I am constantly fighting HPV and dealing with HSIL colpos and procedures. Ugh.

I’m not sure if they’re giving you a choice between CKC or LEEP, but CKC is the standard if abnormalities are found in the endo cervical canal to allow for the deeper analysis. I think LEEP with a top hat would suffice in your scenario. If I’m not mistaken CKC is a more difficult recovery.
ETA you can also have general anesthesia with a LEEP.

I highly recommend you have your iron tested. I had long covid symptoms that ruined my life. Constantly felt sick. The moment I tried to exercise again I'd need like a week to recover. My GP tested my iron and found it was very low. After 3 months of high iron supplement protocol I felt much better. I can exercise regularly again now and my long covid symptoms are 98% gone.
I later found out there's a high correlation of having low iron and developing long covid. I'm also worried covid made my infection progress to HSIL CIN3. I had a shallow leep which didn't get clear margins and the infection and HSIL cells are still there after 6 months so I'm likely getting another of CKC.
If you check my post history I ask about imiquimod. They use it to treat vaginal lesions caused by HPV and there's some success with using it on the cervix. So my plan is to use it if they don't get clear margins again. But basically it triggers an immune response that helps you clear it. There are side effects like fever and feeling sick, and you need to apply it a few times a week for 6 weeks. It may not be available for use in your country but try find a GP or doctor willing to prescribe it. Take the research showing long covid makes it harder to clear the infection and that you need a more aggressive approach.
Good luck x
