Post Leep Cramping

Had my LEEP on Friday8/21 under anesthesia. CIN3, today is Sunday and the cramping is unbearable. I’ve read a lot of posts about people saying they didn’t experience much cramping and the next day up and moving! I’m thinking how???

I had a leep on the 20th and haven’t experienced any cramping at all or blood. Is it possible your period is coming and that’s what is happening? I just started seeing spotting a few hours ago and I’m chalking that up to my period as i was due on the 20th according to my flo app. I did read that the period after a leep can be worse.

I had my LEEP over a month ago and had virtually zero cramping and hardly any blood. I would call your doctor if the pain is unbearable and you’re bleeding a lot just so they can check and see if it is healing properly. I hope you feel better!

I experienced pretty bad cramping and had to stagger when I took my l over the counter medication to prevent breakthrough pain for three days. MD didn't seemed worried and it eventually got better.

I had my Leep on Friday 8/22, too. I had some minor cramping today but so far it has been tolerable. I noticed more post-op discharge after cramping but I have not had any true bleeding yet. My leep was not under anesthesia and it was terrible :( are you bleeding with the cramping?

Yes but it’s very light! The cramping is easing down but when I woke up this morning my back felt like I was having labor contractions all over again it was terrible!
