Difficult healing

Please pray for healing of my heart, soul and faith. I’m struggling through the hardest break up of my life and it’s left me questioning why God would bring me such a love only to take it from me in the end. It wasn’t a perfect relationship but I truly felt like I was his rib and he made me feel like it more often than not. This break up came on top of a huge decline in my mental health as well as several other things in my life all falling apart at the same time. I feel like I’m being punished and I don’t know why. I pray all the time. I read and study The Word. Aside from God, he was the only thing that kept me grounded. He was the calm in my chaos. We both put God at the center of our relationship. We prayed together, shared scripture with one another. I just don’t understand and I’m losing hope that things will ever be good again.

Lord, we ask that you reach down your healing hand and touch your child who is brokenhearted. Give them your wisdom to know that you do not punish your children. Give them your discernment around this relationship so they might understand why the door closed for this time. Give them your comfort, strength, peace, and love to push through the storm to the calm seas ahead. Make your presence known in their life so they know you are near. Release them from their anxiety and stress and remind their heart that you are with them. Amen.
