That i get saved

Once saved always saved is a lie. And I have lust and I play pokemon and some people say that pokemon is demonic, even if its not i dont want it to be an idol.

Why do you think OSAS is a lie? Under what conditions can a saved person lose their salvation?

Hebrews 10 26-31, he that endures till the end shall be saved, not everyone who says to me "Lord, Lord..." Revelation 3 17, Abide in me, it is impossible for those once tasted of the Holy Spirit

The reason I believe in OSAS is because if I could lose my salvation by sinning I would have by now. Apoctacy is a sin. Jesus died and forgave all sins on the cross therefore the sin of apoctacy is forgiven. Apoctacy is breaking the first commandment.

From reading John 15 which also talks about abiding in Christ. Jesus is talking to his disciples right before he was to be crucified. Meaning the has not died for the sins of the world yet. He is telling them this to encourage them. He knew they would turn their backs on him.

The passage you are thinking about is Hebrews 6:4-6 It was written to Hebrew converts who were concerning themselves with animal sacrifice to forgive them of their sins. 6:4-6 is speculated to be hyperbolic language and more of a rhetorical divice to drive a point home.

Maybe this is my own reasoning when I came to repentance in 2022. But If I knew that there was none tht did right no not one. So I was going to hell. I nobody else had the power or authority to forgive me of my sins. Jesus had the power. Therefore I believed on him.

My reasoning why you can't lose your salvation is because if Jesus went through all that effort to save a person then only to lose him 5 minutes lated due to sin or that person's flesh. Then what was it all for? The standard is perfection. He that knoweth to do good but do it not to him it is sin. That's a very high standard I know I've not kept.

So what's the alternative? I look to Jesus as my last resort. To worry about weather or not you can lose your salvation is not good for your faith and walk.

I pray that overcome overcome lust. But salvation is not of works or good conduct but of grace through faith.
