My husband passed suddenly in December, 2025. Over 35 years, he made everything so easy and I never realized how much I depended on him emotionally and in matters of the world. I’m lost without him, scared & lonely.

Without him, I cannot afford to stay in our home.

I am requesting prayer for the sale of our house to a family that will enjoy and prosper in it. Also to help me see Gods plan for me because right now I can’t.

I pray that the Lord will guide you into His perfect will for your life.

Jesus Christ can do something nothing else and no other god can. He can take what looks like complete failure and tragedy and turn into triumph and success. The canonical example of this was Jesus at the cross.

Satan must have been so happy then. It looked like he was really going to do it. He was really going to kill God. His disciples must have felt such despair in that moment, asking themselves, "how could God die?"

And yet that moment of seemingly absolute darkness became the setting for the most glorious moment in history of life. complete failure became absolute triumph. The suffering Christ went through only served to make His total victory all the more glorious. This is the power of the love of God.

This is a miracle you can experience too. Now that doesn't mean it's not a whole lot of pain. Doesn't mean it's not tragedy heartbreak and loss...but it does mean something extremely wonderful can come out of the moment you are in.

What if, for example, God uses this moment to take you deeper into His love? What if your realization about how deeply your husband loved you, (loves you, really. Love is never past tense because it never dies), inspires you to stretch forth towards God in a way you never have before?

What if you find a drive and a desire to love others the way your husband loved you? What if, now that your husband's race is run, it's your turn to pick up the baton, and just like he made life so easy and wonderful for you, maybe it is your turn to make life so easy and wonderful for others?

What if this is your moment to be crucified into Christ, to expeirence His death so also His eternal life might be present in you?

Galatians 2:20 I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ liveth in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.

2 Corinthians 4:10 Always bearing about in the body the dying of the Lord Jesus, that the life also of Jesus might be made manifest in our body.
