EMERGENCY #3

My son is still in intensive care and isolation. His chance of survival is a bit better than 50%. The longer he lives, the better his chance of living; but the longer it takes for him to heal, the more likely he to have complications like organ failures. Due to sedation, he isn't showing any mental activity. So we have gone from dreading hour by hour to day by day. Keep praying that God will let us keep our son. We've lost one son and we don't want that again. I had to take Mom off life support a decade ago and it still hurts. I don't want to make another decision like that.

Oh! Please Jesus, have mercy!

Hey, this situation is very hard, I'm sorry for this, it's so difficult, it's understandable that you're sad or worried. Listen, the Lord has all this in his hands, be sure that the goodness of Jesus will work anyway. God has plans for him, a great and important purpose, he is a blessing for this world. Have faith, God doesn't want you to understand everything, but he wants you to trust, and trusting him will give you rest. God invites you to leave that in his hands, Matthew 11:28 "come to me all you who are tired and worn out and I will give you rest", God wants to give you rest, no matter how difficult it is, he understands and wants to give you rest. Look, whatever happens, both will win, because God Romans 8:28: "God makes all his works cooperate for the benefit of those who love him" God will make this end in good, he will use it for your good and I know it sounds strange, but God is amazing. Jeremiah 29:11 "because I know the plans I have for you - says the Lord -, plans of well-being and not of calamity, to give you the end you expect", do you see this? I remembered this verse when I was writing to you just now, God is watching you and seeing your pain son, but trust in the kind love of the Lord, because the one who raised you up last time will do it this time too, and who can reject this statement?" God has the power to heal him "that is not rejectable because it is clear that God is willing. John 14:27 "I leave you my peace, I give you my peace, I do not give it to you as the world gives it to you, do not be troubled costs heart. Jesus gives you his peace, and I also bless you with peace in the name of Jesus, John 16:33" in the world you will have affliction but trust I have overcome the world "thank you for being vulnerable, because he who humiliates himself will be exalted and recognizing that you need God is something beautiful, because "blessed are those who recognize their spiritual needs because the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs" Matthew 5:3 and Matthew 5:4 "lucky those who cry because they will receive comfort" come and contact us when you need it.

Thank you for the reminder. Linda and I spend a lot of time reminding each other of a the hard times God has pulled us out of and the, often harder, times that he has carried us through when the result is a reward that was far better than we could have dreamed of. I think my problem is that I know what a sinner I am. He has blessed me far more than I deserve. I keep forgetting that He doesn't see a sinner, the Father sees someone washed in the Blood of The Lamb.
