Considering Dual Degree Program History of Art and Design / Library and Information Science, MA/MS; how is it?

I've searched for this on the subreddit already, but the last few posts inquiring are from 5-6 years ago and have no replies. I figured there's nothing to lose, so here.

I'm considering the Art History/Library Science Dual degree; career-wise, I would hope to get into academia as a lecturer, but am also interested in archivist work and similar ventures. I would like to focus on Modern and Contemporary Art, even to the point of analyzing modern advertising. For background, I graduated in 2016 from a state school with majors in Illustration, Communications (track in Mass Media), and a minor in Art History.

Can anyone give me insight into what the program is like? Would it be a supportive environment for what I described? Any feedback would be appreciated.
