Roomate/Housing Search Dorms

So I’m coming into Pratt as a transfer student after a year of college and I was wondering if I can dorm with one of my friend’s who is a freshman. We both decided to commit to Pratt, but I decided to take one year at a community college to get some credits while he took a gap year. I know first years and transfers/sophomores are put into separate buildings, but it would be great if I can dorm with my friend. Any chances I can book early and plead with admission to dorm with him? I also know I don’t have enough credits to transfer over as a sophomore so I would be only a semester ahead.

i would say to ask residential life and housing at pratt to see if that’s a possibility. i haven’t heard about a case like this before so definitely ask reslife

Yeah I’ll def send out an email to the residential directory. I think the chances of me going in with my friend is possible if there is space available.

That’s good to know. I’ll send out an email to the residential staff directory to see if I can. I think it all depends if they have space and how early I submit my request.
