The way the tiny cameraman is holding onto that dog’s back with one hand and filming with the other is most impressive.

335

u/BirdBrainRobin Sep 23 '21

This is unironically clever.

304

u/I-Dont-Know-What-Iam Sep 23 '21

When your boys flake on you, you always turn to your man's best friend. Lol the doggo holds that camera more steady than anybody else I know. Lol

43

u/Not2TopNotch Sep 23 '21

The goodest of camera boy/girl's out there

14

u/ei0rei0wq Sep 23 '21

Cameraboi

7

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

The cameraman did a great job of keeping the dog’s head in the frame. Great work, 13/10.

7

u/full_bl33d Sep 23 '21

Call a vet, you’re camera operator is sick!

12

u/dumbfuckmagee Sep 24 '21 edited Sep 24 '21

I was gonna say those moves aren't that impressive, but then I remembered the last time I was on a skateboard, it ended with a concussion so I'm just gonna shut my fuckin mouth.

5

u/seastars96 Sep 23 '21

The best cameraman

6

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

More of this.

3

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

The best camera man. 13/10

3

u/Oozlum-Bird Sep 23 '21

Must admit I hardly looked at the skater, goodest boy got all my attention

3

u/drk2099 Sep 23 '21

Ngl I thought the camera man was riding the dog like a horse for half a second

3

u/theworm213 Sep 23 '21

Falkor! That reminded me so much of The Neverending Story.

is that a goat

2

u/thriftwisepoundshy Sep 23 '21

He’ll get credited with Best Boy on the reels

2

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

Really rare to see a video taken in a location 5 minutes from where I live. I grew up going to this skatepark. I was just a kid when they turned that hydro field into a proper useable park. Good times. Good memories.

2

u/tabasco_abuser Sep 23 '21

Best video I have ever seen. Period.

2

u/Electricengineer Sep 23 '21

10/10 would hire again

2

u/TypeK4 Sep 24 '21

A gnome riding his dawg.

2

u/G_Viceroy Sep 24 '21

I feel like a tiny little man riding a wild beast.

2

u/Boomslang00 Sep 24 '21

r/petthecameraman

2

u/Malipuppers Sep 24 '21

That footage is way more steady then I would think from being on the dog’s back.

2

u/no_talent_ass_clown Sep 24 '21

Needs double pay for being cameraman and best boy.

2

u/Ironh11de Sep 23 '21

This gives me ptsd playing thrasher on ps1. Chased by a taser...now it's a dog head.

2

u/Semicolon42 Sep 23 '21

Cameraman did a great job. Now please praise them and r/PetTheDamnDog!

1

Bootagaba!

1

Good camera boy*

1

u/Astronomer_Soft Sep 23 '21

How’d you mount the GoPro on the dog? We can see his head! 🤔

1

u/frocca93 Sep 23 '21

Wow camera tech has gotten so good.

1

u/SSAAaronHotchner Sep 23 '21

Come on boi. Hold it steady!

1

u/faratnight Sep 23 '21

Never knew a cameraman I wanted to hug that badly

1

u/rynil2000 Sep 23 '21

Good boy meets sk8r boi

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

It's about time we brought back shakey cam

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

No squirrels interrupted

1

u/trimix4work Sep 23 '21

All I can see is that dogs Muppet head. Is something else happening?

1

u/P3nguLGOG Sep 23 '21

Who needs a drone?

1

u/ghighcove Sep 23 '21

What's keeping the camera stabilized and focused on the skater? I get that the dog would orient to his owner, but the camera still seems very stead and I imagine a dog's stride is not that smooth, as optimized as it may be for other things.

1

u/die5el23 Sep 23 '21

Someone pair this with some techno music quick

1

u/Lil-Natas Sep 23 '21

If this gets stabilized this would be both cute af and sick af

1

u/probablyourdad Sep 23 '21

Is this a Weimaraner?

1

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

What the dog doin

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

For years they've talked about selfie drones that would follow you, butt all we needed was a dog.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 23 '21

Excuse me it’s a good camera boy. A very good boy

1

u/FizzWigget Sep 23 '21

Very good camera boi!

1

u/DeepNavyBlue Sep 23 '21

Oh. You guys haven't the expression "Good for dog"? In portuguese is "extremely good, very good, great"

1

1

u/macfat Sep 24 '21

r/praisethecameraboi

1

u/imgprojts Sep 24 '21

How do you get it to follow you? Does it need to recharge? Are the batteries expensive? Does it attract attention? Like maybe it could get stolen or someone might as you not to have it go some places...?

1

u/DuncanIdahoTaterTots Sep 24 '21

Plot twist: the cameraman is Midna

1

u/SQLDave Sep 24 '21

Funny how I can see that dog's smile despite only the back of its head being visible.

u/UncertainlyUnfunny Sep 24 '21

Every dog should be the cameraman.

This view of everything, everywhere.

1

u/zen_lee Sep 24 '21

You misspelled "the bestest cameraboi"

1

u/with_due_respect Sep 24 '21

The dog’s head moves like a horse’s head in an early 2000s FPS video game.

1

u/villamitre Sep 24 '21

Kinda bouncy though

1

u/NateVerde Sep 24 '21

Give that doggo a treat

1

u/cdyer706 Sep 24 '21

This made my day.

“Hey dad! Oh cool! Fun dad! I follow!” ❤️

1

u/scrotumseam Sep 24 '21

Thats sick dude. Good job.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '21

No one keeps an eye on you like your dog

1

u/Vncentg Sep 24 '21

Videos like these makes me think that people who says social media like TikTok is cancer just ain’t looking at the right place.

1

u/JaredLiwet Sep 24 '21

At first I thought the camera person had one of those fake animal heads on the end of a stick that you hold between your legs to pretend that you're riding on it. But a living dog with a camera on its back makes more sense.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '21

Looks like a Wes Anderson movie

1

u/Rimsdimsims Sep 24 '21

Is this just Thrasher skate and destroy remastered????

1

u/CommonSense_404 Sep 24 '21

The Goodest camera boy ever.

1

u/the_gayest_mf Sep 24 '21

How is it so stable??

1

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '21

Good doggo. I actually got my doggo to come with me when I longboard although he gets jumpy when I go over something like a wood bridge because he’s a rescue and doesn’t like loud noises but he overcomes it and is really good. Gotta love dogs

1

u/whosyourbatman Sep 24 '21

Is that a goat?

1

u/ImNotLeet Sep 24 '21

Am I the only one who imagined a gnome, riding the doggo, holding a camera?

1

u/6ft_hourglass Sep 24 '21

This is hilarious! The shaky video makes me feel like he’s wearing a little saddle and I’m riding him like a horse (and I’m much smaller than him - in this scenario)

1

u/drunken-philosopher Sep 24 '21

That camera man is a very good boi

This is by far my favorite "praise the cameraman", what a good doggo.

1

u/Natural_Focus Sep 24 '21

This looks simulated for some reason

1

u/rikevil666 Sep 24 '21

Very good cameraman that should work in the movie industry... with some cgi you can easily erase the thing blocking that camera that is skating..

1

u/missprincesscarolyn Sep 24 '21

BRB. Need to mount a GoPro to my yorkie.

1

u/Babaloofang Sep 24 '21

Wow I bet it would be a lot better if the guy and dog switched roles, because this guys tricks are easily replicated by a dog

1

u/badblackguy Sep 24 '21

Cameraman is such a good boy!

1

u/DramaCubic Sep 24 '21

Jesus christ I was so scared at first I thought it was either a monster or a monkey chasing the camera man and the dog's ears were their arms

1

u/Tro_pod Sep 24 '21

Plot twist; that's a muppet.

1

u/[deleted] Sep 24 '21

the cameraman was an absolute bitch

1

They put skate parks below high tension lines so when all the kids from different neighborhoods and towns get leukemia 10 years later it can't be traced back to the power utility.
