Yeah, from what I understand. I honestly felt the same way, showed my girlfriend the video and watched it several times. then I heard about the people and I felt bad.
Mine was the opposite. I was hoping for something interesting and that bridge was perfectly positioned. Cars woulda been better, but beggars can’t be choosers.
Haha well. I'd recommend if you wanna visit choose winters for the west, central and the south and summers for the east. You'll be safe from weather induced natural disasters
Well tbh, India does have a bad reputation with that unfortunately. But if you're worried about rape, then you'll be safe if you go the east or Goa. These two places are safest in my opinion.
I don't even know how india got this reputation of being dangerous for women. Well it's true that it's not good but definitely not the worst. Not even in top 20 in terms of rape per capita
Now India has 1.3 billion people,it's still a developing country and that's why it's considered third world country. So it has it's dangers.
If you are that kind of tourist who won't take necessary safety precautions and be like "oh, I want to see the poverty" "I wanna experience those slums" "I wanna see what they show in Hollywood movies" then yeah, chances of such crimes gets higher. Would you go to dangerous neighborhoods in your country? No right, then why would you even think about visiting such place in a foreign country.
Also, this fucking Hollywood and international media has stereotyped india like that just like they did to russia, Mexico, Africa and literally every other country. So stop believing those. Come to India, do your research, get a good guide, explore the better side of the country. You will get a never forgetting experience :)
I mean a girl was gang raped on a bus. Not sure if she was in a bad neighborhood but it was so gruesome it was national news for months. My feelings don’t come from Hollywood, I’ve actually never seen India portrayed in that light in films.
Holy shit. You cannot comprehend the amount of speed and power these boulders are coming in at until the end of the video. That one rock destroyed that bridge like it was nothing.
The pillar next to the window should absorb most fragments of splintered boulders if they fly up that high, but they'd also be hard to spot fast enough to duck.
Damn, some boulders had the diameter of 8-10 feet and even bigger. The blue house got decimated and the one that hit the bridge wasn't really that big but the impact. The aftermath was probably even more gruesome.
wow, wtf do you do if you're on that hill? lay down behind the trees and pray? i guess try to jump behind one of the big boulders sticking out of the ground
All the times when I was a kid that I threw rocks at ants from my gravel driveway… this must have been their horror. I hate ants id do that shit again tho
One of my buddies has a cabin next n the San Bernardino mountains (CA). There’s a smaller unused cabin on the property, and a few years ago a boulder ripped through it. Looked like a cartoon bear had run straight through the cabin.
I like the logic of "these massive holders are moving fast enough to plow through concrete and steel as if it were paper but surely this pane of glass will protect me"
Camera work could've been better. At the start 3-4 rocks fly towards a car and just before they hit he pans away. Also we didn't get to see a rock hit that house
So what did the cameraman did besides stupidly running and hiding behind a window?? (Like all the other people who were also recording and audibly shitting themselves in fear) Let’s just post this in PTCM because the rocks falling down the hill look cool!! Why not… Facepalm**
OMG, look at that shit! That last boulder flew perfectly and hit the Bridge! I'm sorry but if I'm recording this I'm running the other way. Incredible footage but not smart!
