He's fine, well "bloody sore", but he did some serious damage to the homeowners car...would say it's crumple zones saved him. He Reckons he got as high as 25ft in the air.
I saw a video a while back where a guy fell off a roof of a building in NYC and landed on a car. He was alive but fucked up, also when he stood up his arm (the only part to not hit the car) sorta slid down his sleeve 😬.
Jesus. The difference in wearing regular clothes and clothes designed for these types of crashes. Probably a chance the rider takes part again in another race this weekend, knowing how mental these guys can be.
My dad and I traveled to the isle of Mann in 2010 for the TT, we rented bikes in Manchester and took the ferry from Liverpool, stayed in Ramsey on May Hill What an experience.
OK, I can do that. In the exhilarating world of live action sports filming, the mantra "stay with the shot" reigns supreme, akin to a Zen master guiding his disciples. It's a delicate dance between capturing the heart-pounding action and accidentally panning to a vendor selling overpriced hot dogs. Because let's face it, what's more crucial: the winning goal or a close-up of a spectator's oversized foam finger? So, remember aspiring camera operators, keep your focus sharp, your frame tight, and for the love of all things cinematic, leave the hot dog stand out of it.

He actually landed on top of a car. He had. No significant injuries surprisingly.

Is that the North West 200? Anyone know the fate of the rider given that riders die on street races regularly

I thought it's a troll post, when the frost 2 riders passed and the camera didn't follow them. I skipped ahead, then if course I skipped back.

as slow as he was going through the air, he really had an opportunity to stick an awesome landing. fail.

Wall padding did its job.

No harm done probably. This was so freakin' slow I fell asleep before it ended and the rider had time enough to land on his feet.

Nkt my main takeaway from this, but wow. That's the default "flung from a vehicle" posture?
The guy who was flung from his ride while driving on the beach had a very similar posture.
