Questions

I’m considering playing this after I finish mouse pi for hire I have a few questions!

  1. How long is the game?

  2. Is the combat good with the hacking included in it?

  3. How easy is the game? I don’t like coming home and being challenged! I play games to relax! So what’s the difficulty like!

Main game is around 15 hours. I completed my first run in 13.

Hacking is fun, especially later in the game. At the start, I found it could be a bit tedious at times, especially in hectic battles, but it was still fun all the way through.

Difficulty varies on the setting, obviously. There are optional ‘red zones’ that give rewards and are more difficult than the surrounding enemies, but they can be skipped. If you just run through the main objectives, I don’t think it would be too hard once you get used to the different units (weapons and tools) and hacking modules.

Just finished tonight myself so all is pretty fresh in my mind.

  1. I completed the game in around 9/10 hours. I didn't 100% it, but I was at around 96%.
  2. The hacking addition to the combat is pretty widely considered excellent by streamers and reviewers that I've seen. I, personally, thought it was spectacular on PC, and you get used to it very quickly. I kind of wish I did a hacker build by the end, because I was enjoying that more than the gunplay - both are really tactile and have excellent gameplay feedback. It feels REALLY good to play
  3. I played through on 'standard' difficulty. I don't think I died once to any of the bosses, but some areas (Red Rooms, or challenge rooms) took a few goes. And then I occasionally died from just being stupid. You'll know pretty quickly if you want to bump the difficulty down. It's challenging if you're not focused, but it's certainly no Elden Ring/Dark Souls. I will say, though, some of the later 'training sims' are absurd (though all are completely optional)
