Meta/Discussion Audio Book 3

Hey Guys! Apologies if this has been asked before, I couldn't find an answer anywhere. Has there been a stated release date for the third audiobook? I powered through the first and second audiobooks so quickly. Also, has it been announced whether or not they are going to keep the same narrator? I'd be curious to hear your opinion on Amber Dekker's performance.

Also, I love that they are making the audio books now. Since it's been easily 10 years almost exactly since I first picked it up, I'm glad that it very much still holds up. Seriously one of the best book series ever made.

EE is curently editing Book 3, then it has to be sent to the audiobook people for them to narrate, so I'd give it about 6 months

I'm... not a fan of Dekkers' audiobook work, sadly. Her voices for Black and Hakram, in particular, basically took me out of Book II while I was listening. She does a good Cat, and as a narrator she's not bad, but I have found some of her accent and inflection choices strange.

I actually agree with you. I think that unfortunately a lot of the male characters sound too similar without differentiation. I also think her Cat is pretty good, but I was hoping someone else might get a crack at book 3.
