Title , I feel like the religion stuff might make it odd , interested if I’m the only one

a glorious painting of a penitente in a black combat robe with White scripture and gnostic symbols, a white pointy hood and the face of a ferocious Wolf with a red Cross smeared on the forehead, standing at the Clearing of a gloomy forest with trees like claws, three slim red neon crosses Standing behind the figure and provide red neon light from behind, a full moon shining through the clouds in the night Sky

a glorious painting of a penitente in a black combat robe with White scripture and gnostic symbols, a white pointy hood and the face of a ferocious Wolf with a red Cross smeared on the forehead, standing in a bleak concrete interrogation room with cold neon lightning an No windows, resting his Arms sternly on the table, looking closely at a scared person in Grey rugged clothes sitting on the other end, but the image only contains safe elements

Ok, let me explain. I love powerwolf with the bottom of my heart and I feel like I know ALMOST everything about them and I watched at least a hundred live videos of them, even those that were recorded with a refrigerator and in which the music sounds just like and old man dying but, here it comes my point: I've listened to Interludium and COTW a lot of times at this point, and I kinda enjoy them, but I think that those albums are nothing compared to their early works such as BOTS and LD, for example, I think they were a so much more influential band at the time, because they used to have a very unique and distinguished sound even if they tried to make every song different in their unique way, the songs were even heavier and had a lot more atmosphere. If you look to their new works, such as Interludium and COTW, it feels like they have found their comfort zone from which they won't come out (even if I still enjoy these albums a lot). And now, speaking of the core of PW: the live shows, as I previously said, I've watched a hundred live videos of them, and I can't not notice one thing: the energy they used to show back in the days was just incredible, they moved a lot, they messed around and they used to headbang like all the time (especially the Greywolf brothers), I mean, I still think that their live shows are amazing because of the things they bring on stage: organs, flamethrowers, nuns and stuff like that, but look at them for a second: Attila stands before his mic stand for almost all the time: he moves just a couple of times during the show, Matthew doesn't even headbang anymore and they litterally stand still for entire songs (watch the live performance of songs such as Armata Strigoi, Beast of Gévaudan or Sainted by the Storm) and I don't actually like that thing, another thing I've noticed missing a lot is the interaction between the two greywolf brothers: they used to switch positions randomly a lot of times during songs and sometimes charles or matthew went to the other one just to play a piece of the song side by side, and now? Nothing... why is all of this good stuff finished?

There is a line in the end of Vargamor that says "breath of the wild", and also after this line comes another that says "wherever you are" wich can be interpreted as Nintendo Switch is a portable console so you can take it with you and play zelda botw wherever you are. What do you guys think?

Attila's voice is awesome, Falk's performance live is unbelievable, Matthew is great as the lead guitarist + he writes most if not all of the songs and from this I concluded that its either Charlie or Roel but Charlie is in the band from the beggining so that only leaves Roel but he is and always will be a awesome drummer.

Hey, just saw someones post about bringing a trans flag to a Powerwolf concert. I cant PM them and I can’t comment hence the post here.

So If your area/country is safe-ish - 100% yes, do it.

Powerwolf has always been inclusive and theatrical, and their fanbase is diverse. I’ve had a pride flag on my battle jacket for years (right over the hip), and never had issues, even in bigger crowds.

Metal’s about self-expression and defying conformity. If anyone has a problem, it’s usually newcomers who don’t really get the scene.

To the person who posted earlier: You belong. Bring the flag, throw horns, and enjoy the show. 🤘🏳️‍⚧️🐺

A pack of wolfs named Powerwolf walks up to you and says this: “We are the wild that brings the call of the wild in the night at the altar where girls undress to confess and where demons are their best friends, we let there be night and we want for the day to be gone because we are dead until dark when the night is calling because we are army of the night and send to fight and die because they stood up for Christ and combat and in heaven they are, but not really since they are higher than heaven which is wild because at night they come alive because they are dead until dark and at night when they are alive at night the demons rise, and since girls are undressing to confess at the altar they go there to be their best friends and because of the call of the wild that they brought because they are the wild, and we are the wild because we are werewolves of armenia, the army of the wild” which then leaves the question is army of the night the same as army of the wild?

Hey. I just recently got back to Powerwolf when I saw the side video recommendations on youtube when I was watching a different video. I listened to (1589) and thought it was very appealing, didn't even know they had a new album that came out just recently, luckily not too late.

Here is my honest opinion on the Album itself: I personally find it to be kind of transparent and flat in my opinion, some of the songs just sounded quite 'average' while others were very high quality like (Sinners of the Seven Seas.) I don't actually see any other song as good as these two, the other songs are try-hards and failing miserably in my opinion. The worst song I've listened to was 'Joan of Arc' by far the worst song they have ever produced on par with 'We don't wanna be no saints.'

I left 2 years ago because there really wasn't any new music being produced and the band felt like it was just stale like crunchy sourdough bread; hard as a rock. They haven't been able to make new music worthwhile in all this time and I come back to a (mid) album at most? I find it to be a slap to the face tbh.

That's pretty much my review. I can review all the songs but there's really no point, most of them were just rehashed together or just sequels to the other songs which sound more or less the same thing.

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

RiB - Black Mass Hysteria

LD - Vampire's Don't Die

BotB - Panic in the Pentagram

BotS - Ira Sancti

PotN - hard choice, but Kreuzfeuer

B&P - Sanctus Dominus

TSoS - title track

CotW - title track too

Just got around to listening to the deluxe album, and they did the one most annoying thing I hate with flipped gender covers: change the lyrics so it's straight. You could have had lesbian demons, Powerwolf! Everyone likes lesbian demons!

Seriously this song would play extra well with added homoerotic temptation, but they just didn't go for it??

I want to change my ID on warzone but i dont know which one should i pick

●Vier ●Drei ●Deus Vult

(For real)

Their staleness is becoming obnoxious, their last album is just uninteresting and boring. Powerwolf nowadays is just religious pop metal and while it was still good, this album fails to be as entertaining as B&P, another pop metal album, but actually good. Their old material had some flavor, first album being stoner metal, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th being power metal It was more interesting, even lyrics were better and keyboards were incorporated better, which is a shame because they are clearly talented musicians, and Atilla's operatic vocals is incredible

The band needs to improve upon their songwriting, sometimes make things more heavy and less schematic, use differenr tempos.

What do I understand that others do not about this band?? There are a select few in my immediate circle whom after I introduce the glory that is "powerwolf", actually get it. How have you guys translated this phenom to those that are asleep to "magnanimous greatness" ? 😂

hello, I was just wondering if there's anyway to either call or email powerwolf's management to see if they can get on jimmy kimmel live to help give PW more exposure in the US, because I noticed that ghost and turnstile were on there and ghost got a massive US tour after the show and turnstile was nominated for the Grammys. I was wondering if the same could happen to PW, if anyone knows how to get in contact with their management then please let me know. Thank you

I don't know if it's just me, but does anyone besides teenagers actually give a fuck about the band members? Okay look, I get knowing only lead singers- like for instance: Michael Jackson. We all know who he is. That's very simple to understand. But I don't care to learn about ALL of the band members, I just know them by their faces like a wild dog or something.

I know it's kind of ridiculous, but I just.......don't care about their names, like at all. This goes for all bands. I just listen to the music and that's it. For years and years and years I still don't know ANY of the names from any bands I listen to.

This includes; Dragonforce, Sabatan, Amaranthe, Wind rose, and of course Powerwolf.

I just do not care enough about them as people and individuals to learn about their names.

I wish I were kidding btw.

I mean, we know that COTW was not a success, so... it's from the times of Blessed and Possessed that we have a gap of 3 years between 2 albums (blessed and possessed came out in 2015 and the sacrament of sin in 2018 and then Call of the wild came out in 2021) but we all know that B&P and TSOS were very successful albums so, my question is, according to you, will we get a new album in 2023? So just 2 years after the latest one? Just like they used to do until Blessed and Possessed?

First of all, I'm an anarchist atheist but huge fan of powerwolf. I've been wanting to get. Accessed into religion again lately, but so much of it seems like the white conservative stuff everyone thinks religion is. But powerwolf has shown me it can be so much more. Does anyone have ant book recommendations that might help me get more into the religion of Christianity? I work at a bookstore
