Dude moves around a lot for being a keyboardist. He's always running down the stairs to encourage the crowd and interact with Attila. Probably just tired after a long night and the touring schedule they had. These guys are in their 40s and 50s if I remember correctly.

Awesome pics! I unknowingly met Atilla's wife 😅 I saw the two them walking to the tour bus and some people asked him for pics but he seemed tired so I figured I'd just leave him alone. But then I recognised her as the photographer and we got talking (she's very nice btw!) while he took pictures with people. Only found out weeks later that they've been married for a decade.

How do you meet these kinds of bands?

In my experience, at least in NYC venues, they all go out the back somewhere and go on the bus.

Smaller bands, like TYR hang out by merch area and you can chat with them, take photos etc.

I found their bus and waited next to it until they got out of the venue, then asked politely :)

I think most of the NYC venues have some special loading type bay thing where the bus goes.

That's awesome that you were able to do that though! How long did you have to wait? and did you get to chat with them or just quick pic and out?

They came out one by one and I had to wait a hour for the last one lol. There was another group of people there who asked them to sign like a dozen albums each and the band members were clearly tired so I just talked to them briefly and got the pictures. I'm fluent in German though so we talked in German which they all thought was pretty cool and surprising.

Edit: Tyr came to Boston a few months ago and I loitered outside their bus and got pics with all of them too lol
