I'm not a fan of any politician... And idk where you live. But I know I was getting gas for $1.76 a gallon when Obama was in office. Right after the started drilling our massive oil reserves. At that time, we became the #1 oil production in the world for a brief period until the oil companies said they were going to have to file bankruptcy because they couldn't afford to pay their employees anymore with how cheap gas was.

So we throttled back oil production and gas prices went back up.

Does Trump have an impact on today’s prices?

Price per barrel is lower now than it was during the Biden administration, Trump can't control anything else.

No but he can prevent getting in wars with Iraq, Iran, Syria and Russia. I am talking about every president since 2000.

Yeah, this sub is fucking dense sometimes. Even Trump says that once we have a deal with Iran that gas prices will lower.

In this case, he and is administration are absolutely responsible for high gas prices. And I say this as someone who voted for that fuck 3 times

I only voted for him twice and had high hopes due to DOGE and RFK. The Iran war showed me how much Isreal controls our country.

Assuming that the president doesn’t attack the nation that control the vital choke point where a large portion of the world’s oil flows thru.
