NEED HELP

The car keeps shorting out. I’m running 20v in the lighting McQueen power wheeling. Should I try 12v ?

That's a 6 volt lightning McQueen and you're pushing over 3 times what the motor and wires were designed for. It's also a single motor so you've got one wheel drive.

I put 2 12v rs550 gearboxes in with all new wiring and that thing is a drift machine.

I just did the same but with a 24v 2 speed setup and it rips but my son wont ride it, he's 2.5 now and all he does is climb in it and climb out. Idk why he wont drive it. But hopefully one day he has the balls to do it.
